Our journey begins early in the morning as we board our train from NZM Delhi at 8:00 AM. Settle into your comfortable 3AC berth, included in the trip, meet your fellow travellers, and let the rhythm of the train ease you into the journey ahead.

The next 24 hours are yours to rest, connect with the group, reflect, and prepare for the divine experience waiting for us in Srisailam.

Hyderabad to Srisailam: Darshan at Mallikarjun Jyotirlinga

Hyderabad to Srisailam: Darshan at Mallikarjun Jyotirlinga

We arrive in Hyderabad at approximately 8:20 AM and begin our onward road journey towards Srisailam. With breakfast en route, we travel through changing landscapes for around four hours before reaching the holy town.
 

By around 1:00 PM, we check in to our stay, located conveniently near the temple. After a quick freshen-up, we come together for lunch and prepare for the most important part of our journey.
 

In the evening, we head to the revered Mallikarjun Jyotirlinga Temple for darshan. Depending on how early you confirm your booking, we will also try to arrange Sparsh Darshan, subject to ticket availability and the temple’s booking process. After the auspicious darshan, take a quiet moment to absorb the peace and energy of this sacred place.
 

We end the day with dinner and a restful night in Srisailam.

The day begins with an 8:00 AM check-out, in line with the local stay policy. After breakfast, we explore the local sights and sacred surroundings of Srisailam at an easy pace.
 

Following lunch, we begin our return journey towards Hyderabad. We stop for dinner before reaching the railway station in time for our 11:00 PM train to Delhi.
 

As we board the train, we carry with us the blessings of Mallikarjun Mahadev, memories with our travel community, and a sense of calm that stays long after the trip ends. The return train journey is approximately 28 hours.
