The trip begins with a direct drive from Rishikesh to Phata, with breakfast and lunch enjoyed enroute. In between we will visit Dev Prayag and Dhari Devi Temple. On arrival, the group checks into the stay at Phata and joins the wider Panch Kedar batch, who arrive the same day after their own drive in from Ransi. Dinner brings the two groups together before an early night, ready for the trek ahead.

Day 2
Trek to kedarnath

The earliest start of the trip, waking at 2:30 AM to begin the trek by 3:30 AM toward Kedarnath Ji. Everyone moves at their own pace along a route well equipped with facilities throughout, though breakfast and lunch are not included on this stretch and can be arranged individually en route. The group reaches Kedarnath Ji by around 5 PM, checks into the stay, and heads toward the evening aarti before returning for dinner and rest.

Kedarnath Darshan to trek down to Sonprayag

Kedarnath Darshan to trek down to Sonprayag

Wake-up is at 4 AM for the Kedarnath Ji darshan, which can involve a queue of 3 to 4 hours given the crowds. A short 15-minute hike to Bhairav Temple follows before returning to the stay for breakfast and beginning the trek back down to Sonprayag via Gaurikund visit.

The group wakes at 7 AM, checks out after breakfast, and boards the traveller for the roughly 7-hour drive back to Rishikesh, with lunch along the way. The trip officially concludes here, carrying the blessings of Baba Kedarnath and memories that last well beyond the trek.
